Arkansas Teachers Retirement System (ATRS) has approved a commitment of $30 million to American Industrial Partners Capital Fund VII, according to the pension’s latest Board meeting minutes.

The $17.49 billion US public pension has a 10.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 11.80 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the fund has made nine commitments to private equity funds with a vintage of 2018 or 2019, which combined constitute $265 million.
